Philosophy

To me, "walk the line" means walking my own path. Everyone embarks
on their own unique journey through life, accompanied by various
people, animals, plants, and places. My clothing is designed to be a
companion on that journey, garments that make you feel completely at
ease and allow you to walk, skip, and dance through life. Nature
provides everything we need and generously shares its gifts with us.
I see myself as part of this natural world and strive to live
in harmony with my environment, acting mindfully and conserving
resources.

That is why I craft my collection using natural materials like
linen and wool, and use plants to bring nature’s colors to our
clothing. Each piece is handmade by me, allowing for individual
adjustments.

It is important to me that the fabrics do not travel from the
other side of the world. I prioritize short supply chains. I source
my linen fabrics from Lithuania. The wool fabrics come from a
high-quality manufacturer in Austria. This ensures durability, so you
can enjoy your garments for a long time.

Wool is naturally self-cleaning, meaning less frequent washing is
required, which helps conserve resources.

I keep only a small stock on hand and produce items only after an
order is placed. This prevents overproduction, ensuring that only
what is actually needed is manufactured.

About me

My name is Sybille Bendorf, and I am master tailor and costume specialist.
I have worked in theater and was the co-owner of a fashion label in Germany for 12 years.

I now spend the summer months in Estonia at our nature campsite, Hedo
Talu, in Roosiku. There, I began experimenting with plant-based linen
dyeing, and I create a small, exquisite collection made from wool
fabrics.
